IB public

This page will focus on the current social media presence from the perspective of the staff and the organization as a whole.  compared to teacher and student presence, the organization’s use of socialized media seems stronger.  For instance IBTV supports schools with video links and presentation links, as well as staff testimonial regarding the IB in general.  I have more research to do here, and do need to evaluate what is available on the IBO site currently.  From a first view of the IBO blogs list , I will say the concern about authenticity seems to be the greatest challenge.  The corporate blogs are clearly written by staff members who are not necessarily good blogger personalities — additionally, the infrequency of posting suggests that perhaps the IB spread themselves too thin, trying to tap into the social media platform with blogs which are not germane or interesting to the target audiences.
